Unit 4: Forest Farming Mushrooms.

Objectives: The video for this unit provides step-by-step instructions for inoculating logs with shiitake spawn. By the close of this unit, you will:
  • be familiar with the log inoculation method of Shiitake cultivation
  • be able to identify other valuable forest mushrooms
  • have been introduced to cultivation practices of various salable fungi.
