How to Use this Learning Module
————————————————————————————————————————

By visiting this web site, you have taken the right path to becoming a steward of your natural resources. As you move through the site, you’ll learn about different issues and practices that may be appropriate for your property. Each of the five major sections contains information to help you understand and manage your forestland, as well as a quiz to allow you to test what you have learned! Try taking the quiz before you read the information. Then, take the quiz again after you have read about the topics so you can see how much you’ve learned.

We have also included an activity for each major section that will take you out to your forestland and help you get to know your property. The information you gather through these activities will prepare you to talk with a forester and other resource professionals about YOUR resources. Use this site to help you develop objectives and priorities based on realistic possibilities. Work with a forester to develop a plan that will serve as your guide to achieving your objectives. Above all, learn as much as you can and have fun!
